The Mont range dominates several counties of northern Catalonia. Thousands of people see it as a religious reference, a scenic viewpoint or a sporting challenge to achieve... or all at once. For my part, the impetus for carrying out this work was to see the importance, not only religious, but also social and festive, of the unique event represented by the annual pilgrimages to the sanctuary.
From here I decided to discover the territory where this took place and show different perspectives and landscapes of the mountain range. The result of these concerns was a 60 analog black and white images photobook: "La volta al Mont" ("Around the Mont") and an exhibition. All the 100 books were different: the images were mixed differently in each one. Here are some of them.
